Zühal Başkırt Kızıl brings over twenty years of professional experience in copyright, neighbouring rights, licensing and rights management. Alongside the extensive dispute and contract practice she built as an attorney and legal counsel within a collective management organisation, she has worked on the protection and management of intellectual property rights in the digital environment.
Her work today centres on AI law, AI governance, regulatory compliance and AI risk management. Working from the EU AI Act, GDPR, NIST AI RMF, OECD AI Principles and ISO/IEC 42001 frameworks, she supports organisations in legal compliance, risk management and corporate governance for their use of artificial intelligence.
